Two male subjects
 broke into a residence on Old Stake Road in Tabor City. The victim was home during the incident. One of the subjects can be seen kicking a four week old kitten prior to kicking in the victim's front door.

Whiteville, Columbus County Thief
Thadeus Miller, 27, a resident of Fair Bluff, was arrested and now facing charges from Brunswick, Guilford, New Hanover, and Wake County.  Mr Miller,  was arrested Monday. Miller reportedly entered the Lowes Foods at 1152 East Cutler Crossing, Leland and was attempting to passed currency that was  counterfeit.bar

Fifty three weapons were stolen during a break-in at The Gun Exchange in Columbus County. Columbus County Sheriff's Office, stated that the store was broken into between the closing of business on Thursday, April 13, and the opening of business  April 14.

William “Billy” King, 69, of  Whiteville was arrested and charged by North Carolina SBI.

The Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested eleven people after a several month long investigation. In some cases, investigators say the crimes span close to 10 years.
